On airBaltic flights we accept cabin baggage and registered baggage of certain dimensions. CABIN BAGGAGE For the safety and convenience of you and your fellow passengers, each passenger (except infants) is allowed 1 piece of cabin baggage with no weight limit, which must be stowed under the seat in front of passenger or in the shelf above passenger seat. The overall dimensions of cabin baggage may not exceed 50x40x23 cm. Infants not entitled to a seat shall only be allowed one fully collapsible stroller/push chair or infant carrying basket, which may be carried in the passenger cabin. A passenger with reduced mobility is allowed to bring auxiliary devices into the aircraft cabin, provided that safety rules are not violated. | |

There is free baggage allowed additionally to above for EuroBonus Gold Members - 2 pieces of registered baggage with total weight up to 20 kg plus 1 piece of sport equipment, EuroBonus Silver Members – 1 piece of registered baggage with total weight up to 10 kg. Economy Flex class - not more than 2 pieces of registered free baggage allowed with total weight for all baggage pieces up to 20 kg. There is free baggage allowed additionally to above for EuroBonus Gold Members - 2 pieces of registered baggage with total weight up to 20 kg plus 1 piece of sport equipment, EuroBonus Silver Members – 1 piece of registered baggage with total weight up to 10 kg. Economy Class – there is fee of EUR 9 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 15 (if paying for baggage separately) on each flight segment for each piece of baggage with total weight for all baggage pieces up to 20 kg. Fee is not applicable to tickets bought before 5th December 2007. EuroBonus Silver Members – 1 piece of registered baggage with total weight up to 10 kg. Corporate customers travelling in Economy (B) Class may have 2 pieces of registered baggage with total weight up to 20 kg free of charge. For passengers purchasing tickets at airBaltic ticket offices and travel agencies 2 pieces of registered baggage with total weight up to 20 kg are included in ticket price. One passenger can register up to 8 baggage pieces. Maximum weight of one checked in baggage piece is 32 kg. If you take with you baggage with weight above allowed you will have to pay an extra charge at the price EUR 15 per 1 kg on each flight segment. For each piece of baggage above allowed you will have to pay EUR 9 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 15 (if paying for baggage separately) on each flight segment. If checked free baggage allowance exceeds weight and piece concept both fees may be applied simultaneously. Pre-paid baggage fee is non-refundable. Special rules apply to the EuroBonus holders and for passengers with connecting flights to North and South America. You must not include in your Checked Baggage fragile items, such as glasses, foodstuffs, perishable items, items of a special value, such as money, keys, prescribed medicine, negotiable papers, securities or other valuables, business documents, passports and other identification documents, or samples, jewellery, precious metals, personal electronic/electrical devices, such as cameras, computers, cellular telephones and musical instruments. SPECIAL BAGGAGE Bicycle One bicycle per passenger is accepted if the handle-bars and the pedals are removed. On each flight only a limited number of bicycles can be accepted for transportation. Bicycles intended for transportation have to be declared in advance. Business Class passengers one bicycle may transport free of charge. Economy Class passengers pay EUR 29 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 36 (if paying for baggage separately) on each flight segment. Diving equipment Business Class passengers one diving set may transport free of charge. Economy Class passengers pay EUR 29 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 36 (if paying for baggage separately) on each flight segment. Golf equipment Business Class passengers one golf set consisting of a golf bag, 14 golf - clubs, 12 golf balls, and golf shoes may transport free of charge. Economy Class passengers pay EUR 29 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 36 (if paying for baggage separately) per each flight segment. Pram Transporting is free of charge. A folding pram is not included in the checked free baggage weight. Skiing/snowboard equipment Business Class passengers one skiing/snowboarding set - 1) skis, ski boots and ski sticks, or 2) snowboard boots and a snowboard - may transport free of charge. Economy class passengers pay EUR 29 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 36 (if paying for baggage separately) on each flight segment. Kiting equipment Business Class passengers one kiting set may transport free of charge. Economy Class passengers pay EUR 29 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 36 (if paying for baggage separately) on each flight segment. Wheelchair A wheelchair if it is required for movement of a passenger is transported without any additional charge. Cello The musical instrument cello is accepted for carriage in the cabin. Cello is placed on the cabin floor leaning against a passenger seat and secured by an extension belt. The overall dimensions of a cello may not exceed 135x40x35 cm. Ticket for cello can be bought at airBaltic ticket offices or travel agencies together with adult passenger ticket. Cello with adult ticket booked over the Internet won't be accepted for carriage. If you need to transport cello please contact an airBaltic ticket office or your local travel agency. If you want to transport some special baggage (e.g. other sports equipment, weapons, other music instruments etc.) not mentioned here please contact your local travel agency or an airBaltic office for more detailed information. Any other baggage that might be classified as special baggage may be subject to charge of EUR 29 (if paying for baggage and ticket together) or EUR 36 (if paying for baggage separately) on each flight segment. Pre-paid baggage fee is non-refundable. If your flight is carried out by a Fokker 50 aircraft, you are kindly asked to agree transportation of any special baggage item with us in advance. Information on aircrafts, which will carry out each of the flights, is provided in timetable thus it may change therefore please in any case contact your local travel agency or an airBaltic office to agree transportation of any special baggage item in advance. TRANSPORTATION NOT ALLOWED For the security purposes, the following items may not be transported in passengers baggage: - compressed gases;
- caustic substances;
- explosives;
- flammable substances (for example, lighter fuel, matches, paints, thinners, igniters)
- radioactive substances;
- document cases and portfolios with installed security systems;
- oxidizing materials;
- poisons;
- magnetized materials;
- and other dangerous items.
