airBaltic in October carried 72% more passengers than last year

The Latvian airline airBaltic carried 96,902 passengers in October 2005, or 72% more than in the same month in 2004, when airBaltic flew 56,440 passengers.

During the first ten months of 2005, airBaltic carried a total of 856,852 passengers, or 78% more than during the same period in 2004, when the total number of passengers was 480,072.

In October, airBaltic operated 2,168 flights, or 38% more than in October 2004 when the number of flights reached 1,576. For the period January - October, the number of flights has increased by 47% over the same period in 2004, and reached 19,323 flights in total.

The average cabin factor in October 2005 was 55%, or 7% points more than in October 2004, when it was 48%.
