- Cheapest price is offered when demand is low. As demand increases, so does the price. This means that travelers can be offered a certain price today and a different price at a later stage. Those who plan ahead have greatest chance of obtaining adventageous prices.
- Maximum stay - 12 months.
- Train tickets for children under 2 travel is free of charge, if no occupancy of aditional seat. Children between 2 and 11 are entitled to 50% discount.
- Rail & Fly train tickets are available only if buying together with airBaltic airline tickets to Germany.
- Deutsche Bahn specific charges may apply, e.g., charge for compartment and seat booking. Some train types , e.g., ICE Sprinter, night trains and international trains, requires seat pre-booking. Seat pre-booking costs EUR 3 and passangers should do it on their own.
- Rail & Fly tickets are valid in all Deutsche Bahn trains (except Deutsche Bahn Autozug, charter-trains, MET, Thalys) and on the whole Deutsche Bahn network – from the airport to the final destination in Germany and v.v. The travelled route must head directly toward the destination.
- Rail & Fly tickets are valid on the day on which the inward flight ends and the day after that. For travel from Germany ticket is valid one day prior to the outward flight and the day of that flight. Maximum validity - 12 months.
