The agreement came into effect on 25 November 2005 as part of airBaltic’s winter timetable. AirBaltic began flights from Riga to Ukraine’s most industrialised city, Dnepropetrovsk, at the beginning of November, and the new cooperation agreement with a strong local partner will contribute to the route’s successful development, opening up the highly industrialised east of the country to airBaltic’s passengers. Throughout the winter season, airBaltic will operate three flights to Dnepropetrovsk per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, in cooperation with Donbassaero. airBaltic also operates direct flights to the Ukrainian cities of Kiev and Odessa. |
