airBaltic – Now for Gourmands, Too!
  
During the summer of 2005, airBaltic is offering a brand new menu to passengers. The new menu was designed with the help of Ēriks Dreibants, chef at the popular Riga restaurant Kaļķu vārti.

The best traditions of the world’s cuisines have been upheld.  Passengers on airBaltic flights will enjoy Italian, French, Austrian and Asian cuisine.  There will also be meals which are based on traditional Latvian cooking.  Guests to Latvia, for instance, are fond of a rye bread-based dessert.

Chef Dreibants was happy to help with the new airBaltic menu because he loves to travel.  He has travelled all around the world, collecting new gastronomic experiences which will now be enjoyed by airBaltic passengers, too.

The menu includes fresh salads and vegetables, and desserts are based on local summer fruits and berries.  It is no secret that it is local and seasonal fruits, vegetables and berries which offer the most vitamins and minerals.
