Only two years ago, we started to introduce one-way fares; only a year ago we have introduced one-way fares on all our Western routes. At the time, I have been told, that one-way fares only work on direct flights, but not on transfer flights.

Now, we have introduced one-way fares on our own transfer flights, on a number of Finnish domestic destinations together with the SAS Group company Blue1 via Helsinki, on eight Spanish domestic destinations with the SAS Group company Spanair via Barcelona and to all major European destinations with SAS via Copenhagen. I am convinced, that this will develop further and will become a standard in the future. Extending the co-operation with the SAS-Group, we are able to increase the choice for our passengers significantly.

Internet bookings have increased to over forty percent of our tickets sold, this required some changes on our booking engine. Our redesigned web-page will allow to easily choose between business class fares, fully flexible tickets and the
cheapest available restricted ticket. On all our fares, name changes are allowed, in the future this will also be supported by the internet. It will be easier in the future to also combine our direct with transfer flights via Copenhagen.

We are working hard, to make travel with us easier and more efficient. If you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to fill out a commentary form and leave it with our Cabin Crew.

Have a nice flight

Yours,
Bertolt Flick
President and CEO
