Dear Passenger, we will start the spring season with a number of new flights from Riga to some of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Fast and direct from the Baltic sea to the Mediterranean
On March 24 airBaltic began regular direct flights to Barcelona, Spain’s second largest city and the capital of Catalonia. This is one of the world’s most attractive cities and a great favourite with travellers.
Domestic flights return to Latvia!
For the first time in nearly 20 years, regularly scheduled domestic flights are being offered in Latvia. Beginning in April, airBaltic will offer quick and easy flights from Riga to one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Latvia – Liepaja.
Latvia and Germany – closer still
This spring on April 27, the Latvian airline airBaltic will begin direct flights from Riga to another important German metropolis of business and culture – Munich. This makes it the fifth direct link to Germany in the airBaltic network.
Airbaltic opens a new office in Berlin
The opening of our own representation in Berlin is a further stepping-stone in airBaltic’s investment in Germany. Due to the increasing demand for flights to the Baltic states out of Germany, airBaltic has decided to open an office in the German capital. The local team will handle all sales and marketing issues and the reservation department will provide passengers with improved services.
Discover Paris
Almost at the same time, on April 30, airBaltic will also begin direct flights to one of the world’s most beautiful cities – Paris. This should delight the romantics and not only them. For lovers of romance, art, fashion and beauty, for those interested in history and business people, airBaltic will get you to Paris in a short time.
Istanbul – a favourite holiday destination for latvians
Direct flights to that great favourite of tourists Istanbul, which were launched by airBaltic in early March, are becoming increasingly popular. This was the first regular direct flight to one of the largest holiday destinations in a southeasterly direction.
Liepaja – a city that sounds
Liepaja lies on the western coast of Latvia in the central part of the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. It is situated 219 km from the capital Riga, about 70 km from Palanga, the major Lithuanian tourism destination and 300 km from Kaliningrad – a fast growing remote Russian business centre.
