In March, we have opened a new flight to Istanbul. Istanbul is one of the largest cities in Europe and one of the most fascinating. A visit to this city is always an experience. In April, we will be flying three times a week to Istanbul. This will be a destination for tourism as well as for trade.

Right before Easter, we opened a flight to Barcelona. The flight is operated in codeshare with Spanair. Spanair will offer you excellent connections to all important Spanish cities. All of Spain will be available for very good fares. Look out for the special internet offers to Mallorca, Sevilla, Madrid, Las Palmas, Malaga etc.

In the end of April, we open a flight to Munich. airBaltic is already flying to Munich from Vilnius and offering by far the widest choice of direct flights to the major German cities. We currently fly to Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne from Riga and to Hamburg, Berlin, Munich from Vilnius.

Also in the end of April, a flight to Paris will be opened. We will operate this flight three times a week from Riga. This flight will complement our excellent connection via Copenhagen.

From Vilnius, we will reinstate our double daily flight to Helsinki and increase the number of flights to both Copenhagen and Tallinn. From Riga to Tallinn and Helsinki, we will again increase the frequency to three flights a day. airBaltic offers by far the most frequent connections to and from and with the Baltic states.

We are in the process of preparing a far closer co-operation with other companies in the SAS-Group, Spanair, Blue1 and Estonian air. Jointly, we will be able to offer you by far the widest choice to and from and within the Baltic states to and from Finland and Spain and at the very best prices. It is our aim, to be able to offer all these product on our web-site.

Last but not least, airBaltic has removed the weight restrictions for hand-luggage. Frequent travelers will appreciate this.
