Dear Passenger, last year has been a period of dramatic change for airBaltic. In June 2004, we have opened a new base in Vilnius starting operations in June 2004, with regular flights to twelve destinations.

Heading south to Istanbul!
This spring airBaltic is widening its gateway to the south. On 1 March the airline launches its regular direct flights to a highly popular destination – Istanbul. This will be the first regular direct flight to one of the largest tourist cities in a southeastern direction.

airBaltic launches direct flights to St. Petersburg
At the end of last year airBaltic added a new important eastbound destination to its schedule of direct flights. From the middle of December Latvian airline now flies directly to Russia’s second largest business centre – St. Petersburg. This makes a current total of 21 direct flights from Riga in the airline’s network of routes and the second direct route to Russia – airBaltic also flies to the capital Moscow.
