With the onset of the winter season airBaltic has good news for all skiing enthusiasts. From December 18 there will be a new direct route from Riga to the Swiss city of Geneva. airBaltic will fly to Geneva once a week on Saturdays using a Boeing 737-500 aircraft. This means that skiers and not only skiers will be able to fly from Riga to Switzerland for under 59 LVL or 88 EUR including airport taxes in just less than 3 hours. The flight time is two hours and 50 minutes. This will be the 21st direct airBaltic route from Riga. Already from October 31 airBaltic began direct flights from Vilnius to London’s Gatwick airport and this is the 11th direct airBaltic route from Vilnius. Passengers can fly from Vilnius to London on a Boeing 737-500 aircraft every day. The flight time is three hours and a one-way ticket from Vilnius to London including airport taxes starts from 255 LTL or 74 EUR. A ticket from London to Vilnius starts at 56 GBP or 82 EUR including airport taxes. On the same October 31, airBaltic opened a new direct flight from the Lithuanian capital to the Bavarian capital of Munich in Germany. There are 5 flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays using a Fokker 50 aircraft and the flight time is two hours and 50 minutes. The 31st of October also saw a new route from Riga to Stuttgart in Germany. The Stuttgart route utilises an AVRO RJ70 aircraft and flies four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. A one-way ticket from Vilnius to Munich costs f rom 255 LTL or 74 EUR including airport taxes but from Riga to Stuttgart, ticket prices start from 34 LVL or 49 EUR including airport taxes. |
