Ticket reservations - nothing could be simpler

The menu and corporate images are not the only changes introduced by airBaltic this autumn. There have also been changes to the online reservation system. www.airbaltic.com has a completely new system that has already been tried and tested in practice by several other airlines and found to be most satisfactory.

There are two important considerations for travellers when buying tickets – the price and flight times but it is rare to be able to buy a ticket for the most suitable flight at the best price and so a third factor comes into play – which of the two, price or time, is most important? Either the flight time gives way to the price or vice versa. So when buying tickets, it is important that the client should be able to find the optimum flight and price combination as quickly as possible. The new system can cater for all these client needs. Easy and fast searching for the most suitable flight and best price is not the only advantage of the new Internet reservation system. Compared to the previous system it is far quicker and much more user friendly for those who don’t buy airplane tickets on a regular basis.

To buy a ticket there are just five step-by-step actions: indicate the destination, the preferred dates of travel and number of passengers; select the price and flight; check the price conditions and confirm that they are acceptable; enter the passenger details and pay for the ticket using VISA, MasterCard, VISA Virtual, VISA Electron or Maestro credit or debit card if the issuing bank permits its use for Internet transactions. And that’s it – all you now have to do is pack your bags and fly.

The new Internet ticket reservation system has been designed in the new airBaltic corporate colours and as before, it is accessible in 3 languages – Latvian, English and Russian. These will be joined by Lithuanian very soon.
