Initially airBaltic will be flying to Stuttgart four times a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The aircraft will be the 70 seat AVRO RJ70 and the flight time approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. airBaltic will be flying from Vilnius to Munich five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays using the Vilnius based Fokker 50 aircraft. The scheduled flight time will be 2 hours 50 minutes. Both new routes will have a one-way ticket price structure. The price of a one-way ticket from Riga to Stuttgart is from 29 LVL or 43 EUR including airport taxes and a single ticket from Vilnius to Munich will cost from 150 LTL or 43 EUR excluding airport taxes. “As we promised, airBaltic continues to expand its network of routes and will open another two new direct flights in the winter season. In Germany Stuttgart and Munich are important centres of business and cultural life and contact between them and the Baltic is growing on a daily basis. airBaltic is the first regional airline to connect Riga and Stuttgart, Vilnius and Munich with direct flights,” says airBaltic president Bertolt Flick. Opening direct flights to Stuttgart and Munich, airBaltic will connect two Baltic capitals with direct flights to five German cities – Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart. |
