In August 2004, we will start flying to Cologne and Manchester from Riga and to Warsaw, Helsinki, Oslo and Vienna from Vilnius. In September, we will add flights from Vilnius to Tallinn, finally connecting all Baltic capitals with each other.
airBaltic Cargo on the ground
Services are being upgraded not only in the air but also on the ground, with additional legs being covered by surface transportation.
Extra Comfort with Ticket-less Travel
Airline tickets can be issued to customers at airBaltic’s ticket offices or travel agencies. Alternatively we can send them to customers by post for departures not less than 7 days in the future. However, probably the most convenient way of travel is to use the ticket-less flight option.
Take-off for airBaltic Sales in Vilnius
In May this year the airBaltic/SAS new sales organization began operating in Vilnius. Its main tasks are to effect successful airBaltic and SAS ticket sales operations in Vilnius in cooperation with tourism agencies based in Lithuania, and to ensure that every one of its customers - tourism agencies and individual passengers alike – is kept up-to-date about airBaltic/SAS flights and can easily purchase airBaltic/SAS tickets.
airBaltic Representing SAS in Lithuania
Already for several years airBaltic has been acting as general sales agent for SAS in Latvia. Now, after launching operations from Vilnius, airBaltic is proud to undertake SAS sales representation also in Lithuania.
Internet Ticket Sales
On-line ticket sales for airBaltic flights have been available via the internet for the past year and a half. This method of ticket acquisition has become increasingly popular, with around 24% of all airBaltic flight tickets being bought via the airBaltic website.
airBaltic Continues to Expand its Operations in Vilnius
Early results indicate that airBaltic’s decision to operate flights from Vilnius has been successful, so the company is now planning to offer its customers an even wider choice of direct flight options from the Lithuania capital.
airBaltic Moves into New Premises
For the second time this summer airBaltic has relocated some of its offices. Early on in the season city ticket sales office was moved into new premises in Riga city center (in Bergs Bazars), and now, in the middle of the summer, the company’s ‘back office’ employees have also moved into new offices.
airBaltic Launches Flights to a Third German Destination - Cologne
From August 15th airBaltic will start flying to another major German city of interest to both business people and tourists: Cologne.
New Direct Riga-Manchester Flights
