"Historically, Germany has been a significant partner for Latvia in terms of culture, business and tourism. That is why airBaltic is responding to increasing demand by launching flights to another major German city. Our decision was also influenced by impressive positive indicators in passenger flow to our existing German destinations Berlin and Hamburg," says airBaltic president Bertolt Flick. Initially, airBaltic will operate four flights a week to Cologne, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Pricing on flights to and from Cologne will be based on one-way tickets, which will cost from 49 lats (including all airport charges). |
