Early reactions indicate that our passengers are generally satisfied with the new airBaltic service concept, which includes improved levels of comfort in business class whilst simplifying the service offered to those traveling in economy or tourist class.

The changes were introduced earlier this spring. Business class passengers now receive a full service including a hot meal, a wide choice of drinks, the major European newspapers, a bigger baggage allowance and other bonuses. Tourist class passengers traveling on routes with one-way ticket pricing structure are offered the possibility of purchasing a meal and refreshments on board. Customers therefore have the choice of opting for a higher fare and full service or a lower fare.

Both passenger statistics and personal positive feedback indicate that our customers support this new service concept. Most passengers traveling in tourist class do make a purchase from the selection of warm meals, sandwiches, salads, cheese snacks, chocolates, juices, coffee and alcoholic beverages on offer, paying either in lats, euro or by bank card.
