| Last year, airBaltic carried more than a million passengers in the course of a year for the first time. The total for the year, 1,037,869 passengers, represents an increase of a remarkable 76% year-on-year. |
Few airlines around the world can boast such impressive figures. The millionth passenger of 2005, Mr Ivars Bardins, who flew with airBaltic direct from Riga to Kiev on 15 December, was congratulated by airBaltic president Bertolt Flick before the flight, and presented with a certificate entitling him to a free flight for two people in business class anywhere on the airBaltic direct network. |
