airBaltic opens flights to Tel Aviv

On 5 June 2006, airBaltic will open direct flights to Israel’s business capital, Tel Aviv. Known as the “Hill of spring” and the “White City”, Tel Aviv combines the dynamism of a modern business centre with the cheerful atmosphere of a major beach resort. Just to the south, the Bronze Age fortified city of Jaffa is linked to the business district by the richest collection of Bauhaus architecture in the world.

Flights from Riga to Tel Aviv will depart twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. One-way tickets will start at LVL 184 (EUR 265), including airport taxes.
