The agreement gives both airlines’ passengers greater access to one another’s networks, allowing them to use a wide range of flights from one another’s hubs in Riga, Vienna and Vilnius. It maximises travel planning flexibility at the same time as minimising the organisational complexities of a multi-sector journey. Altogether, the airlines fly between Riga and Vienna 11 times per week. AirBaltic’s early-morning flight time means that codeshare passengers can link into a wide range of ongoing connecting flights, opening up destinations such as Damascus, Kathmandu and Cancun, and making this the quickest way to reach Sydney and Melbourne.
