Furthermore, with the agreement of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, from 16 August this flight will continue from Kaliningrad to Copenhagen and back. Not only does this open a further new destination for the people of Kaliningrad: it means that they will be able to use the entire network of airBaltic's strategic partner SAS, flying from Copenhagen to all SAS' destinations in Europe, USA, and Asia. This entry into the fiercely competitive Russian airline market is almost unique in Europe and pays tribute to airBaltic's strong Eastern links. The three-city flight will operate four times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. It will be served by a Fokker-50 aircraft. The cost of a one-way ticket starts at LVL 56 (EUR 84). |
