Come ski with me: airBaltic flies to Zurich

Winter is coming, and with it, the ski resorts of the Alps will be opening for business. To make the most of the weather and make sure that you, too, can get away to the pistes, airBaltic is opening direct flights to the Swiss ski heaven of Zurich on 29 October.

Less than an hour and a half from legendary resorts such as Davos and Klosters, Zurich is the gateway to some of the most exciting ski opportunities in the Alps. The city itself is a major financial and business centre, and it is within an easy journey of attractions such as Europe's largest waterfall, the Rhine Falls, and its biggest indoor water amusement park, Alpamare.

To begin with airBaltic will operate direct flights from Riga to Zurich with a Boeing 737-500 aircraft three times per week, on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Flight time will be 2 hours 20 minutes. One-way ticket prices will start at LVL 29.00 (EUR 41) including airport taxes.
