Editorial
2006 has already seen the opening of flights to 14 new destinations from Riga and 4 destinations from Vilnius. Additionally, airBaltic opened a flight from Kaliningrad to Copenhagen. This means that Riga now offers one of the largest networks in Europe serving the Former Soviet Union with flights not only to the other Baltic States, but also to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad from Riga and Copenhagen, Kiev, Odessa, Simferopol, Dnepropetrovsk, Baku, Tbilisi and Minsk as well as a code–share flight to Tashkent.

New night flight to and from St.Petersburg
On 29th October this year airBaltic launched a series of night flights to St.Petersburg, Russia’s Baltic masterpiece. Throughout the winter season, flights from „Piter” to Riga will depart at 05:55 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Announcing airBaltic’s winter timetable
Also on 29th October this year, airBaltic’s winter timetable came into force, to run until 24th March 2007. The timetable features new destinations and increased flight frequencies on three routes. In all, this winter airBaltic is operating 34 direct flights from Riga and 12 from Vilnius.

airBaltic’s five top New Year destinations

Extra flights for the winter holidays
This winter, airBaltic is offering extra flights to / from Dublin and London. The extraflight regime will start on Thursday 21 December, with a return flight from Vilnius to Dublin. This flight will continue daily until Sunday 24 December, and be repeated daily from 3 to 7 January.
