airBaltic carried 1.42 million passengers last year, with a turnover of 162 MEURO (116 MLVL); an operating result (EBITDAR) of 22,5 MEURO (16,09 MLVL) and a profit of 5,2 MEURO (3,72 MLVL). We improved our result by 7 MEURO (5 MLVL) and increased the turnover by 37%, the same as the increase in passenger numbers.  During the year 2006, we opened 14 new routes from Riga and Vilnius. Despite a difficult competitive situation and record high fuel cost, we have continued to grow, creating a stable platform for the further development in 2007. There is no secret to our success, we try to observe and understand our markets and the needs of our customers. In 2007 we will make again a step forward.

The income levels in the Baltic States have grown considerably; people can now afford to travel and they want to travel. For everyone living in the North, it is a dream to travel to the South and the sun. We will therefore offer more routes to the Mediterranean, to the Black Sea and to Northern Africa. We can see, that more and more people from Estonia and Lithuania start using Riga airport for their travel, because from Riga, we offer the widest choice of holiday destinations and by far the best prices. The parking lot at Riga airport is already full of cars from Estonia and Lithuania.

From Riga, we will have 11 routes to the Mediterranean (an increase of 8 routes), 3 to the Black Sea and 3 to Northern Africa; also from Vilnius we will fly to Rome, Milan, Barcelona and Malaga. There is more to come and we will increase Egypt in the winter and add also Dubai. Another area of development is the improved service for business travellers within Northern Europe and to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk and Kiev as well as Hamburg and Berlin. The business traveller needs more flights during the day, in order to use the day effectively. We therefore increase frequencies from Riga to Tallinn, Stockholm and Copenhagen to 4 flights a day, to Vilnius to 3 flights a day and improve our schedule from Vilnius to Tallinn. Moscow will be flown twice a day together with Aeroflot, Kiev and Odessa daily, St . Petersburg 11 times a week and we are considering to increase Minsk to 10 flights a week, Berlin and Hamburg will be flown 10 times a week.

We are finalizing our discussion with the city of Liepaja about the summer schedule. From May we intent to fly to Liepaja double daily; and we will open a flight from Liepaja to Hamburg daily. More routes will be prepared at a later time. The business and holiday potential of Kurland is enormous and good flight connections will support an already excellent development. On May 3, 2007 we will open a new flight to Saaremaa twice a week, for tourists to the beautiful islands and its excellent SPA hotels.

We have reason to look forward to an interesting summer.
Have a good flight!
