In March, airBaltic became the first airline to launch flights to two cities in Belarus as aircraft started flying between Riga and Gomel. It already flies to the capital Minsk. The airline is also relaunching its route to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
In April, airBaltic opens new direct routes from Riga to Rome, Athens, Monastir and Stavanger and from Vilnius to Brussels, Rome, Milan, Zurich, Barcelona and Malaga. Looking further ahead, in May new flights open between Riga and Dalaman in Turkey. Then, in June, new flights are launched from Riga to Palma de Mallorca, Heraklion, Bodrum and Larnaca. Flights to Simferopol on the Crimean peninsula will be relaunched in June after stopping for the winter season. |
