Baltic Outlook

August/September 2007

Editorial

Over the past few years, we have surveyed the needs of our passengers and have developed our product accordingly. The basic requirements are direct flights to the major destinations at competitive, sometimes very low prices. Thanks to the larger variety of destinations and the lower prices airBaltic is able to offer, many Estonians and Lithuanians have started to fly from Riga. This has led to an extremely strong growth of passengers particularly in Riga, but also from our base in Vilnius.

Saaremaa – this year’s top for short breaks
Earlier this summer, airBaltic opened a new route between Riga and Estonia’s biggest and most beautiful island, Saaremaa. Now, taking into account the substantial demand for the route, an additional frequency has been added to the schedule on Saturdays. It is possible to reach Saaremaa’s resort town of Kuressaare direct from Riga on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule is especially attractive for short breaks and long weekends.

Milan – Italy’s pulsing economic and industrial heart, and one of the fashion capitals of the world. A city at home with high fashion and cutting-edge design, Milan is the birthplace of a host of world-famous brands, from Prada and Versace to Bugatti and Alfa Romeo. Think Milan, think style.
