Egypt opens up for autumn

Fleeing to warmer climes from the chilly winter weather has never been easier. Relaunching from the end of October are airBaltic’s flights from Riga to the top Egyptian “Red Sea Riviera” resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh.

Offering a vast range of beach and leisure activities, including the best warm-water scuba diving in the northern hemisphere, the resorts are also within easy reach of the magnificent temples and pyramids of the Nile valley.

The range and value for money of hotels in the area make it a tempting offer even for the most budget-wary traveller. For example, a stay in a 5-star hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh can cost as little as a stay in a 2-star hotel in Paris.

Hurghada will be operated four times a week, Sharm el-Sheikh three times a week. New scheduled flights from Vilnius to Egypt are also planned this autumn. For detailed schedules, check the latest news at www.airbaltic.com.
