New flights to Oulu connect Northern Finland to Baltics

airBaltic is continuing its new strategy of opening new routes not only to capital cities throughout Europe and beyond, but also to regional centres. Last year, besides launching flights to a variety of capitals, routes were also opened to such important regional centres of Northern Europe as Gothenburg, Bergen and Stavanger.

This year airBaltic is broadening its flight network in Finland, and besides Helsinki it will fly from Riga to Oulu from the end of October. Oulu, situated on the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia, is the biggest and most economically important city in Northern Finland.

Flights will operate 3 times a week - from Riga to Oulu on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays evenings and from Oulu to Riga on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays mornings. One-way ticket prices start from EUR 19 (taxes included). The flight schedule will give also excellent transfer possibilities for passengers flying via Riga from Oulu to Kiev, Odessa, Minsk, Gomel, Kaliningrad and St.Petersburg and back.
