There is a significant boost in the number of flights on popular skiing routes, such as the one between Riga and Munich where they have increased from four to eight a week. Munich is now reachable daily and twice a day on Saturdays. Riga-Vienna and Vilnius-Milan have increased from four to five flights a week, Riga-Zurich from three to four a week. Flight frequencies are also increased on Scandinavian flights – Riga-Gothenburg to six times a week (now daily except Saturdays), Riga-Oslo to 13 times a week and Vilnius-Helsinki to 12 times a week. Significant increases have also been made on Berlin routes. Now it is possible to choose from 13 flights a week on Riga-Berlin – which means up to three flights per day – up from the earlier 10 flights a week, and from five flights a week instead of four between Vilnius and Berlin. Changes have also been made for flights going eastwards. Riga-Gomel is increased from three to five per week and Riga-Istanbul from three to four per week. Within the Baltics, the number of flights has increased from 10 to 12 a week on Riga-Liepaja, from 15 to 16 a week on Riga-Vilnius and from 16 to 17 a week on Vilnius-Tallinn. |
