This winter, airBaltic is opening several new offices in Riga and around Latvia. In November, a new ticket office was opened in Daugavpils, the country’s second largest city, at a central location next to Daugavpils University at Vienības Street 11-42.

A third ticket office in Riga will open in December. Besides the two existing offices at Riga International Airport and the citycentre Berga Bazars, now passengers will be able to buy airBaltic tickets inside the Reval Hotel Latvija building on Brivibas Street.

Then, at the beginning of 2008, the airline will open a new office in Liepaja, Latvia’s third largest city and one of airBaltic’s hubs from which flights are operated to Riga, Copenhagen and Hamburg.

This new strategy of making airline tickets more easily available not only for those living in the capital but also in Latvia’s regions will continue into next year as ticket offices are planned for other towns and cities.
