Throughout 2008, airBaltic will further develop its strategy of not only carrying passengers from point to point, but also offering quick and easy transfers via Riga airport. Already, airBaltic can offer some attractive onward connections between Scandinavia, Finland and the CIS countries.

Did you know that from Stockholm you can fly conveniently and cheaply via Riga to eight cities in Eastern Europe? There are connections to St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad in Russia, Kiev and Odessa in Ukraine, Minsk in Belarus, as well as Central Asian destinations such as Baku, Tbilisi and Tashkent. From Sweden’s second city, Gothenburg, there are useful connections with St. Petersburg. Oslo in Norway makes a good starting point for connecting flights via Riga to and from St. Petersburg, Kiev, Odessa, Minsk, Baku, Tbilisi and Tashkent. From Helsinki you can fly conveniently via Riga to and from St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Kiev, Odessa, Minsk, Baku, Tbilisi and Tashkent. From Oulu – St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Kiev, Odessa and Minsk are all accessible. One-way tickets between Finland and these destinations start from EUR 131 (taxes and Internet transaction fee included).
