With Berlin as a starting point, travellers can fly conveniently via Riga to St. Petersburg in Russia, Kiev and Odessa in Ukraine, Minsk in Belarus and Baku, Tbilisi and Tashkent in central Asia. From April, this network will be further enhanced to link Berlin with Yerevan (Armenia) and Almaty (Kazakhstan). Then in May, Simferopol on Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula joins the list, followed by Sochi, the Russian Black Sea resort that will host the 2014 Winter Olympics. One-way ticket prices between Berlin and these destinations start from EUR 107 (taxes and Internet transaction fee included).
