Riga, 04.03.2008 Representatives of the Latvian airline airBaltic, led by the airline’s president and CEO, Bertolt Flick, opened a regional office at the “Romas darzs” business centre in Liepaja. This makes the airline’s services more easily available to people in the Latvian region of Kurzeme and in the north-western regions of Lithuania. Bertolt Flick, President and CEO of airBaltic, comments: “We now see that our domestic flights to Liepaja and the fact that the Liepaja airport is now listed on international aviation maps because of flights from it to Hamburg and Copenhagen – these are very important initiatives which have promoted growth not just in Liepaja and its immediate environs, but also in a significant part of Lithuania.
