Online travel guide gains printed edition

There’s good news for all independently minded Latvian travellers as website www.anothertravelguide.com, in cooperation with airBaltic, has published a printed guide to major European cities. The first issue covers everything you need to know about Berlin, London, Madrid, Rome and Paris.

There will be info about must-see museums, the latest exhibitions, restaurants for gourmands, and even where to track down the best fish and chips in London. There’s also the inside view of which bars are the ones to be seen in, which hotels offer the most stylish rooms and where to buy designer goods at everyday prices. Even if you are visiting for the first time, having a copy of the guide in your pocket will make you feel like you’ve been living there for years.

At present the first issue is only available in Latvian via selected Statoil fuel stations throughout the country.
