Riga, 12.05.2008 The Latvian airline airBaltic carried 181,943 passengers in April 2008, or 20% more than in the same month in 2007, when airBaltic transported 151,341 passengers. During the first four months of 2008, airBaltic transported a total of 648,120 passengers, or 32% more than during the same period in 2007, when the total number of passengers was 489,558. In April, airBaltic operated 3,778 flights, or 35% more than the 2,805 flight of April 2007. Between January and the end of April, the airline increased its number of flights by 38% over the same period in 2007 - up to 13,546 flights in all. Cabin factor in April 2008 was at a level of 54%. During the first four months of 2008 airline’s cabin factor was at a level of 54%. The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic was at a level of 87.1% in April – 1.3% points more than in March 2008.
