Linking Scandinavia with the East

The flight schedule that has evolved between Riga and many Scandinavian and Western European cities is very attractive with two or more flights a day not uncommon on some of the routes. Simultaneously, over the past few years airBaltic has developed a growing network in Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Put the two together and you get Riga as an ideal transfer point linking East and West.

From Finland (Helsinki, Oulu and Kuopio) there are excellent round trip connections to Tbilisi, Baku, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Odessa and Kiev (though the last three destinations are not suitable for connections from Kuopio).

From Sweden (Stockholm and Gothenburg) check out round trips via Riga to Almaty, Tashkent, Baku, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Chisinau and Tel Aviv (last four destinations not suitable for connections from Gothenburg).

With the 3 daily flights to Riga from Copenhagen, we can offer excellent onward connections to all the above-mentioned Eastern cities, while from Billund both Tbilisi and Baku come within reach.

From Norway (Oslo, Stavanger and Bergen) there are also various possibilities. How about Baku, Tbilisi, Tashkent, Tel Aviv, Odessa, Kiev, St. Petersburg and Minsk from Olso? From Stavanger the best round trip connections via Riga are to Baku and St. Petersburg, while from Bergen St. Petersburg is also an option.
