Compared to the summer schedule in 2008, airBaltic will increase the number of flights between Riga and Baku (3 times per week), Barcelona (6 times per week), Bergen (3 times per week), Billund (3 times per week), Brussels (12 times per week), Dusseldorf (6 times per week), Yerevan (3 times per week), Rome (daily), Hamburg (10 times per week), Istanbul (daily), Kaliningrad (daily), Chisinau (daily), Kuopio (4 times per week), London (11 times per week), Oslo (18 times per week, up to 3 times per day), Stavanger (3 times per week), Moscow (twice daily), Tel Aviv (6 times per week), while three destinations will be served up to 7 times per day - Tallinn, Vilnius, Helsinki.  A number of destinations (for example, Almaty, Athens, Odessa, Simferopol etc.) will return to airBaltic summer schedule from their winter hybernation.

Bertolt Flick, President and CEO of airBaltic, comments: "We continue strengthening our network of routes into Scandinavia and the Baltic region. We have now reached the necessary critical mass to offer an attractive and efficient transit product, and our summer schedule features improved connections and better flight frequencies for the passenger travelling via Riga."
