For many years now Estonia has been a favourite location for Finnish tourists, marvelling at the historic sites of medieval Tallinn, enjoying the seaside resorts along the Baltic coastline, or doing some shopping at bargain prices.

Finnish expansion far from finished
airBaltic is continuing its rapid expansion in Finland and this spring will be serving nine cities in the country.

Baltics and Sweden closer than ever
Following the major expansion in its services in Finland, airBaltic will be repeating the strategy in Sweden from June with the launch of several important new routes.

Summer sun in exotic destinations
A host of exotic and intriguing cities in the Middle East and Southern Europe are set to become airBaltic destinations this summer. First up is a Riga to Amman, Jordan route which starts on June 1 followed by Beirut, Lebanon and Madrid, Spain the very next day.

airBaltic supports marathons
This year again airBaltic is proud to be the official carrier of the Nordea Riga Marathon, a race that takes in the very best of the sights of the Latvian capital. This year’s event takes place on May 23.

airBaltic Training centre opens in Riga
To spread its high standards of customer care, airBaltic has established an airBaltic Training centre at Riga International Airport, to provide commercial aviation training for flight crews.

BalticCargo joins the brand
In another important strategic move, airBaltic has acquired full ownership of a cargo handling business at Riga International Airport, and will operate it under a new BalticCargo brand.

Mārtiņš Rītiņš, celebrity chef of Vincents restaurant in Riga, has served his cuisine for the famous elite, including Queen Elisabeth II and Prince Charles of Great Britain, King Juan Carlos of Spain, Paco Rabanne, Pierre Carden, Montserrat Caballe, Jose Carreras, and Sir Elton John.
