Reward and Status miles

There are two different kinds of miles. Every time you fly airBaltic you simultaneously receive an equal number of Status and Reward Miles. Status Miles define your level of membership in the programme while Reward Miles you earn may be spent on free tickets and other of our partner offers.

Status Miles

Status Miles may only be earned on airBaltic and, potentially, on partner airlines. This type defines your level as a member in the programme. If you reach certain Status Miles thresholds within 12 months, you will qualify for the Executive or the VIP status with all the associated benefits. Status miles can not be redeemed and expires after 12 months.

Reward Miles

Miles collected are Reward Miles and can be earned with airBaltic and partner companies. These miles you can spend on BalticMiles partners’ products or services. Additional Reward Miles will be credited to members through different promotions of BalticMiles. Reward Miles are valid for 36 months for Basic tier members, whereas for Executive and VIP members Reward Miles does not have any expiration.
