How are Points calculated?
Points are earned by purchasing flight tickets for airBaltic operated flights. Earning of Points is based on the fare paid for airBaltic flights and eligible fees such as taxes and fuel charges. You earn 5 (five) Points for every euro spent. You will earn an additional 5 (five) Points per euro spent if you fly in Business class. Plus, you will earn additional Points if you book your flight ticket with BalticMiles MasterCard.

How many Points will I earn on my next flight?
The amount of Points earned for your flight will depend on the fare paid for the flight. Let's say you purchased a roundtrip flight from Riga to Berlin in Economy class and spent 130.00EUR including taxes and charges. 130 x 5 Points per euro spent equals 650 Points earned.

How many Points I will earn if I have purchased my flight ticket before the new system but will fly after February?
All tickets purchased before February 1st, 2011 work as part of the previous system and are based on the distance of your journey and the class of travel. Please find a list of destinations and Points earning chart.

What happens to my Points that I have earned with airBaltic?
All the Points earned before the time the program relaunch are still valid and you are able to spend the Points as usual. All Reward Points earned are valid for a period of three (3) calendar years. You can view your BalticMiles account statement by logging into your profile at www.balticmiles.com.

Can I earn Points for other airBaltic services such as sports equipment or checked in baggage?
For the time being, you can earn Points for purchases from airBalticCafe on all airBaltic flights. And in the near future you will be able to earn even more Points for other extras and additional services.

Can I earn additional Points when paying for airBaltic flight with BalticMiles MasterCard?
By paying for your flight ticket with BalticMiles MasterCard earns you Points twice – once with airBaltic and once with the card provider – Nordea bank.

Can I earn Points if I buy ticket at airBaltic but only one part of the journey is operated by airBaltic?
When there are other airlines flight segments booked in connection with airBaltic flights, members will be credited with Points for the airBaltic flown segment only and the amount of Points will depend on the distance flown with airBaltic. Points will not be credited for the segments that are not operated by airBaltic.

Can I earn Points if I have purchased my flight with Points slider/option?
If you have paid partially for your flight using Points slider option, you are eligible for mileage accrual.
For example, Riga – Tallinn flight ticket in Economy class costs EUR 50.36 and you paid 2650 Points and EUR 34.99 for it. You will earn 175 Points (34.99 x 5).

How can I do retroactive claims as part of the new system?
Retro active claims procedure stays the same – you can either use the online form at www.balticmiles

Will I earn Points when I have paid for a ticket but another person used it for travel?
Only the person named on the BalticMiles account and who actually flies on the airBaltic flight earns Points, even if the travel was purchased by someone else. To receive Points for airBaltic flights flown, the ticket must be issued under the member's name exactly as the member's name appears on the account.

Will I earn Points for airBaltic flights in case I share my BalticMiles card with other person(s)?
Points earned by only one member will be credited to the account after the membership number has been activated or registered at www.balticmiles.com. No Points will be credited to an individual account for flights flown by other person(s), even if the membership number (of the BalticMiles card) has been shared with other people.
