Baltic PR Awards is an annual contest to promote professionalism, effectiveness and high ethical standards within the public relations industry and is the leading annual communication management forum in Northern Europe.

Latvian airline airBaltic was announced Airline of the Year 2009/2010 Gold Award winner by European Regions Airline Association (ERA). The ERA Airline of the Year Award was introduced in 1991 and has since grown to become the most widely recognised industry award in this sector. The ERA Airline of the Year Award recognizes success and achievement made by a member regional airline, considering the context and specifics of individual airline’s operating conditions.

In category Fastest Growing Airline / Seasonal Routes Award airBaltic received the award for achieving the highest percentage passenger growth in the summer period of 2009.

Airline airBaltic was chosen for anna.aero ANNIES Award as Europe's largest flag carrier by new routes. In Europe, CIS and the Middle East airBaltic operates 27 routes more in the summer season of 2010, compared to summer 2009. The ANNIE award is based on a comparison of schedule data for August 2010 and August 2009 of airlines operating scheduled flights.
