Passengers must arrive at the airport early enough to complete all formalities. Time indicated on the flight coupon is the departure time of the aircraft. Flights cannot be held for passengers who are late, and the airBaltic accepts no responsibility in such cases, therefore please find the check-in deadline for your departure airport below! airBaltic has an EUR 5 airport check-in fee in place. Fee will not be applicable to passengers for whom online check-in is not available. Twilight check-inIf your flight departs from Riga airport, you are most welcome to use Twilight check-in service – you can check in for your flight and drop off your luggage from 7pm until 10pm on the day before your flight departure. It means that on the departure day you can go directly to security control and then to departure gate. Please take into account that there may be lines at the security control, so we recommend arriving at the airport early enough, so you can be at the boarding gate at least 15 minutes before your flight departure. Self-check-in kiosksIf your flight departs from Riga airport, you can print your boarding pass at one of the self-check-in kiosks located in the departure hall. A self-check-in kiosk is easy to use and takes approximately 1.5 minutes for you to check in.
By the self-check-in kiosk just choose language you prefer (available are English, Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian and German languages) and follow instructions. You will have to enter your booking reference and family name, mark passengers you want to be checked in for the flight, select a seat you prefer and wait for your boarding pass to be printed out. Printing out your boarding pass is an essential process, for you will have to present it, when dropping off your baggage, at the security control and when boarding the plane. Check-in deadline when using self-check-in kiosk corresponds to check-in deadline of your flight, which in Riga airport is 40 minutes for Economy class passengers and 30 minutes for Business class passengers. Please note that if you have also baggage to drop off, you need to arrive at the airport even earlier, because deadline for baggage drop-off also is 40 minutes for Economy class passengers (accordingly 30 minutes for Business class passengers). Please take also into account, that there may be lines by the baggage drop-off points, therefore we recommend to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight departure. Self service check-in is available for all airBaltic passengers with the exception of passenger categories mentioned below: - passengers travelling to countries that require passengers passport data to be provided by airline before departure (United Kingdom);
- passengers under the age of 18 who are traveling without passengers above the age of 18;
- passengers who have indicated for special assistance, service or with medical assistance to be provided;
- passengers traveling in a group of 10 or more;
- passengers traveling with infant.
Business class check-in and Fast Track service Check in for your flight by the Business class check-in desk and use Fast Track service for a non-refundable fee of EUR 20 per adult passenger. This service is available in Tel Aviv airport, it is free of charge for children and infants if they travel together with an adult. If you check in for your flight online or at the self service check-in kiosk go to the Business class check-in desk to receive Fast Track stamp for using fast track line.
