In the EuroBonus program you earn two types of points - Basic points - can be used for bonus travel and other partners` offers and for upgrade to a higher membership level
- Extra points - can be used for bonus travel and other partners` offers only
Points are valid up to 5 years The validity of your points depends on in which month you joined EuroBonus. For example, member since 29 May 1999. All points accrued during 01 May 2007 – 30 April 2008 will be expired on 30 April 2012. Points you earn with airlines - Basic points - on airBaltic, SAS, Blue1, Widerøe, Estonian Air, Skyways and Star Alliance airlines
- Extra points - on other airlines
Points can not be earned on charter and code-share flights - Code-share flights are operated by airBaltic partner airlines. Usually code-share flight number is four-digit number. For example: BT7431 Riga – Vienna operated by Austrian airlines
- Charter flights operate out of the regular schedule. Usually charter flight number is four-digit number. For example: BT7717 Riga-Antalya
You earn less bonus points on cheaper ticket The principle is simple, the more you spend the more points you earn. For the cheapest tickets you will earn 25% of the points you earn for a normal Economy ticket. More bonus points for EuroBonus Silver and Gold members
As a Silver or Gold member you earn 15% and 25% respectively more Basic points regardless of booking class on all flights operated by airBaltic, SAS, Blue1, Estonian Air and Widerøe. Points you earn with hotels and cars* - Between 300 and 500 Basic or Extra points, depending which hotel you stay
- 500 Extra points each time at normal rates from Avis, Hertz or Sixt worldwide
- 1000 Extra points on Sixt Limousine rentals
- 1000 Extra points on Hertz rentals for a period of at least five (5 days)
* Points cannot be earned on some rates The points you earn is subject to the respective operating airline and partner

- when you check-in for a flight or at the hotel
- when you pick up your rental car
* The name on EuroBonus card should be identical as on your ticket We recommend you to keep a copy of ticket In some cases points are not accrued automatically to your EuroBonus account even if card was presented to the ticket desk or checkin counter. Missing points? - Points can be retroactively recovered within 6 months after the activity date
- For newly enrolled members points can be registered for journeys or activities that took place only up to 30 days prior to enrolment
- It may take up to eight weeks for the points to be successfully credited to your account, depending on which partner
Register missing points - Present your tickets or electronic ticket receipts to airBaltic or SAS EuroBonus office. Name, ticket number, flight number, booking class and date must be clearly visible
- Present a copy of the invoice/receipt for a hotel and/or car rental agreements
- Make a request for missing points on-line from your EuroBonus profile (not earlier than 21 day after the flight)
Points for cancelled flights If you are involuntarily re-accommodated from airBaltic to another airline or other means of transport, you may request your points for your original flight itinerary. Points earned on direct flights operated by airBaltic - Young members, between 2-17 years old, earn the same amount of points as adults
- Infants, between 0-2 years of age, earn the same amount of points as adults as long as a seat has been booked and paid for in their name, i.e. travelling on a child's fare
