airBaltic passenger transportation and service experience, that was based on the aviation industry in the democratic understanding of passenger service not restricting possibility of passenger to travel by air has successfully ensured various categories of passengers to travel with our company. Starting from 26th of July 2008 EU Member States have to comply with EU Directive 1107/2006. This means that airline companies (airBaltic complies in full to this EU Directive in EU Member States), airports and PRM service organizations are bound by this Regulation and have to ensure that each step of the passenger service requirements is met. Supervising organization of each state is responsible for compliance and monitoring of these requirements. Understanding passenger needs and necessity to be informed, airBaltic in this section provides information to passengers who are traveling, or are planning to travel with airBaltic and have special needs due to physical disability or medical condition. The following guidelines are intended to welcome our physically challenged passengers to the care, comfort and safety of airBaltic service, to assist them in planning their flight with us and to help us provide care and service that will make their flight as comfortable and safe as possible. At the same time airBaltic reminds passengers to refer seriously to the information provided in these guidelines while planning travel as well as to remember that in order to provide all necessary services, timely application for services, as well as precise information is important.
