Service classes

On airBaltic flights, choose from three different classes: Business class, Economy Flex and Economy class.

Business Class

Providing the highest in service, Business class is designed for those who prefer extra comfort and for business passengers who require the flexibility and reliable rest that business travel demands.

• Ticket is refundable any time.
• Flight date/time changes allowed anytime and free of charge.
• Hand baggage allowed: 2 pieces, 50x40x23 cm.
• Checked-in baggage: not more than 3 pieces of checked-in baggage allowed with total weight for all baggage pieces up to 30 kg free of charge.
• Check-in at the Business class desk.
• Fast track security control*.
• Access to airport Business lounges*. See Business lounge at Riga airport.
• Seating at the cabin forefront with middle seat kept free (subject to aircraft type).
• Seating in Business Class.
• Full meal service and newspapers on board included.
• Entertainment with portable media (on flights over 2 h 30 min).
• Earn three times more miles per flight through the BalticMiles frequent flyer programme.

Economy Flex Class

Looking for flexibility and reliable service while travelling but could do without all the extras? Then Economy flex may be the perfect choice for you.

• Ticket is refundable any time.
• Flight date/time changes allowed anytime and free of charge.
• Hand baggage allowed: 1 piece, not over 8 kg, 50x40x23 cm.
• Checked-in baggage: not more than 1 piece of checked-in baggage allowed with total weight up to 20 kg free of charge.
• Newspapers in Latvian and Russian offered on flights from/to Riga free of charge.
• Buy on board or pre-order from a wide food and drink assortment.

Economy Class 

For budget travel with the option to add on what you want, Economy class is a straight-forward and simple choice. Receive the standard service included in the ticket price and choose any extra services you might like, either during booking or afterwards.

• Ticket is non-refundable.
• Changeable any time up to 24 hours before the scheduled or desired departure time, whichever is earlier. Flight date/time change fee is EUR 75 per flight segment. If flight date(-s) change involves booking class upgrade (the same booking class not available on your selected dates) you will have to pay fare difference as well. Changes can be done online or a request may be submitted through online payment form. To protect yourself against the possibility of a sudden change in your travel plans, purchase a warranty for EUR 20 and change your flight once, at no additional cost (if tickets within the same price level are available).
• Passenger’s name and/or family name change allowed before departure. The fee to change a name and/or family name for one passenger is EUR 75. Change request may be submitted through online payment form. If name change is performed at the airport or city ticket offices written statement confirming changes and official ID copy of new ticket holder have to be presented.
• Hand baggage allowed: 1 piece, not over 8 kg, 50x40x23 cm.
• Checked-in baggage: when paying for baggage on airBaltic.com there is a fee of EUR 15 per one way of travel for every checked-in baggage piece with total weight limit for all baggage pieces up to 20 kg. In other sales channels there is baggage check-in fee of EUR 20 per bag/per one way of travel for non-BalticMiles members or EUR 15 per bag/per one way of travel for BalticMiles members with total weight limit for all baggage pieces up to 20 kg. If you didn’t pay for baggage during ticket booking process, please use our "Pay for baggage" service.
