Mondial Assistance 

airBaltic in cooperation with an international company Mondial Assistance offers ELVIA Travel Insurance to airBaltic customers.

Residents of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Finland, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Ireland and the Netherlands can easily buy travel insurance at the airBaltic website together with their flight tickets. If buying insurance you will be insured against: 

  • emergency expenses (sickness, accident, death etc.);
  • problems with luggage (damage, theft etc.);
  • medical expenses abroad (including doctor, dentist and hospital costs);
  • cancellation of the booked flight.

Terms and conditions:

  • policies are valid for 31 day;
  • price from EUR 14.50 for adults and children (aged from 2);
  • infants up to age 2 are covered for free if adult passenger is insured;
  • if you change the date of your flight, airBaltic automatically will contact the insurance company and the policy will be changed to the new dates;
  • passengers have rights to refuse Travel insurance and obtain a refund of the Travel insurance fee within 14 days of purchase, but not later than 48 hours before the planned flight departure - if travel insurance policy is purchased together with flight ticket, cancellation of policy should be done via e-mail cancellation@airbaltic.com; if travel insurance is purchased separately, passenger should contact Mondial Assistance directly to cancel policy.
