Infant under 2 years age without a seat gets 90% discount from fare. When buying roundtrip ticket, please make sure that infant will be under 2 years age also on date of return flight. Otherwise, please, buy separate tickets for departure and return flights. Infant must be accompanied by adult and adult must be at least 16 years of age to be able to accompany an infant. One adult can accompany only one infant. If you book an infant ticket he/she will not have his/her own seat on board. However, if you need a separate seat for your baby, please book the applicable child's fare.
Please note that on flights operated by Fokker 50 aircraft we accept no more than 3 infants and on flights operated by Boeing aircraft we accept no more than 10 infants.
Accompanied child 2-11 (including) years and unaccompanied child 5-11 (including) years gets 25% discount from fare. When buying roundtrip ticket, please make sure that child will be under 12 years age also on date of return flight. Otherwise, please, buy separate tickets for departure and return flights. Children age 12 until 15 (including) may travel alone if having passport, birth certificate and notarized credentials. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult age 16 and over, and without an accompanying adult will not be permitted to board the aircraft. airBaltic unaccompanied minor service is available for children at the age of 5 and over, if the legislation of children’s residence country permits it. Unaccompanied child under 5 years of age will not be accepted for carriage.
airBaltic service to an unaccompanied minor implies that the child is under supervision of the airline from check-in until the child has met his/her parent or guardian upon arrival. Unaccompanied minor service must be arranged in advance at airBaltic ticket offices or via online payment service. Not refundable charge for the unaccompanied minor service is EUR 30 / LVL 21 / LTL 105 per one way journey. If there are two children in one booking, only one service charge will be applied. These rules apply only for flights operated by airBaltic. If there are other airlines involved, different charge may be applied for flights operated by the other airline (please contact the operating carrier for more information). Please note! Different restrictions for an unaccompanied minor travel may apply in different countries (e.g. a minor can travel only on a supervision of an adult resident of the same country etc. (e.g. - Moldova). Child/Infant car type seats or other restraint systems aren't authorized for use on airBaltic flights.
Passengers age 16 until 18 may travel alone if having passport, birth certificate and notarized credentials.
