In February 2017, the Latvian airline airBaltic carried 175 851 passengers or +17% more than in the same period of 2016 throughout its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. During the first two months of 2017, airBaltic has transported a total of 363 847 passengers.

In February the airline operated 3 030 flights, or +12% more than in the same period of 2016, when airBaltic operated 2 715 flights. During the first two months of 2017 the airline operated 6 493 flights.

The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, was at a level of 66% in February 2017. During the first two months of 2017, airBaltic load factor was at a level of 64%.

The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic reached a level of 89,2% in February 2017. This means that more than 89 of every 100 airBaltic flights in February departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.

This summer, airBalltic will add 12 new routes to its network to such cities as Madrid, Geneva, Aberdeen, Tampere, Stavanger, Gothenburg, Kazan, Catania and Liepaja.
