Dear Guests,

Getting you on time to your flight destination is one of our main priorities, and this is reflected in our performance. For yet another year, airBaltic has surpassed more than 200 of the world’s top airlines in punctuality performance, with 90% of the company’s flights arriving on time in 2016. The airline global punctuality ranking is released during a particularly demanding season that is dominated by snow and adverse weather conditions. We are determined to continue excelling in our on-time performance, despite the climate challenges of northern Europe. We will do our utmost to fly you to your destination as scheduled, while we expand our fleet, increase our number of flights and expand our family of customers.

For the past two months, many of our passengers have had the privilege of flying on the most modern narrow-body jet on the planet – the Bombardier CS300. We have been thrilled by the reaction of our customers, who appreciate the brand-new aircraft’s extra comforts and efficiency — including wider seats, more legroom, bigger windows, better lighting and larger hand luggage compartments. The addition of these state-of-the art jets has made it possible for us to add ten new routes to such cities as Madrid, Geneva, Aberdeen, Tampere, Stavanger, Gothenburg and Catania. We will also introduce additional flights on existing routes where the demand is strong, and we will deploy larger aircraft to improve the connectivity of the Baltic region with major European hubs.

Thank you for flying airBaltic and have a great trip!

Yours,
Martin Alexander Gauss
