Dear Customer,

Modern aircraft are the backbone of air travel, permitting passengers to enjoy better onboard comfort offered by the latest technology. The improved fuel burn and range performance of all-new aircraft make new destinations become accessible, generating additional business opportunities and creating a new of circle of travellers that didn’t exist before. It is always exciting when a new aircraft joins an airline fleet, as this invariably results in better service, smoother operations, greater fuel-efficiency and lower costs.

airBaltic’s future aircraft – the Bombardier CS300 – made its historic air show debut last month in Paris, as numerous analysts, engineers and other industry specialists stood watching in admiration. The flight demonstrated once again that this state-of-the-art model can go even beyond its expected performance in many areas, burning 20% less fuel than similar aircraft and resulting in economic gains of up to 15% in operations. The CS300 also boasts an unmatched environmental footprint, with carbon emissions slashed by one fifth and noise levels four times quieter compared to currently operating aircraft.

These and numerous other aspects induced our experts to opt for a fleet modernisation that best suits airBaltic and you, our customers. We are very much looking forward to seeing the Bombardier CS300 join our operations in 2016. Did you know that we have announced 15 new destinations for this summer season – the highest number since we started our restructuring and returned to profitability?

Thank you for flying airBaltic and have a great trip!

Yours,
Martin Alexander Gauss
