1/ New CSeries joining the airBaltic fleet

Later this year, airBaltic will receive its first factory-delivered Bombardier CSeries 300 aircraft. airBaltic will be the first airline in the world to fly this brand-new model, which will be the world’s leanest and most economical aircraft within its class.

Built for unrivalled passenger comfort and significantly improved in-flight crew working conditions, the Bombardier CSeries sets new standards in economy and environmental sustainability with its state-of-the-art technologies. Reduced emissions, noise and fuel burn open up possibilities that are much more than just technical tick boxes, including flights to airports that other aircraft cannot reach from Riga.

airBaltic has ordered 20 CSeries aircraft, which will gradually replace the current Boeing 737 fleet.

3/ Get more with a Group ticket

If you are planning to travel with a group of friends or family, then consider buying group tickets. The offer applies to groups of eight people or more and provides a lot of privileges.

  • You can book group tickets without the passenger names and add these later, up to 24 hours before departure.
  • You do not need to pay the whole amount when booking, but can split the payment into parts until one month before departure.
  • If your travel plans change, then you can adjust your flight date and time.
  • One checked bag is included for each passenger.
  • Bigger groups of at least 20 passengers can request one free flight ticket for the group leader (only airport taxes must be covered).

Book your group tickets at airbaltic.com or contact our dedicated group team at groupsbt@airbaltic.lv and they will help you to find the most suitable flights.

4/ Online check-in extended

Now you can check in online for airBaltic flights up to five days before your departure. This is especially handy for those who plan a short trip and want to check in for both their departing and return flight in one go.

Tablet and smartphone users do not even need to print out their boarding passes, because they can save the mobile boarding pass in their Wallet App and head straight to the security check with their device in their hands. If you have bags to check in, then just leave them at the drop-off counter first.

Online check-in is available up to one hour before departure and saves you both time and money, as checking in at the airport with Basic tickets costs EUR 30.
