Dear Customer,

November is the first full month of winter travel. For this season we have introduced four new routes and improved our schedules to and from Western European airports.

By moving our departures to earlier morning hours, we have made more time available for travellers to enjoy such cities as Vienna, Paris, Prague and Amsterdam. Likewise, passengers starting their journey from these airports will have improved connections through Riga to the Baltic region, the CIS and Scandinavia.

Our new Vilnius-Amsterdam and Tallinn-Paris routes strengthen the connectivity of the Baltic region with Western Europe and destinations worldwide, which are served by our long-term code-share partners through these hubs. The new Riga–Moscow Vnukovo route in cooperation with Transaero will complement airBaltic’s existing Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo services, offering additional travel options to the city or onwards with our partner airlines.

Those who wish to escape the cold and shorter days and who prefer a never-ending summer will find it in Larnaca (Cyprus), Tel Aviv (Israel) and in one of the sunny resorts of Egypt that we are offering in cooperation with Tez Tour.

For winter-lovers, we have added to our abundant choice and introduced a new destination in Poprad in the High Tatra Mountains. We have also placed larger aircraft on high-demand winter holiday routes and scheduled more convenient departure times on established winter routes linking Riga with Zurich, Vienna, Munich and other cities.

If you are a fan of somewhat unconventional winter activities, did you know that the Baltic States are a top destination for ice fishing? With over 6,000 lakes, hundreds of rivers and several ice fishing festivals, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania offer a multitude of scenic ice fishing spots throughout the winter.

Thank you for flying airBaltic and have a great trip!
